Forty acres of vines, truffles and olives.
A working farm on the edge of the karri forest, seven minutes from Manjimup.
A farm first, a place to stay second.
Dalton's Paddock is a working property in the old timber settlement of Deanmill, on the western edge of Manjimup. There's a vineyard, a paddock of growing truffle trees, olive groves and a small fruit orchard, with the karri forest on the horizon.
Walk the vines with a morning coffee, wander the truffle paddock, pick fruit in season, and watch the kangaroos come out to graze at dusk. Guests regularly mention the ducks, parrots and cockatoos too, and the home-made golf tee.
Our three stays are spread across the property so each one looks out over the farm rather than at a neighbour.
